Well the competition is now over - congratulations to all the winners! I LOVE the zip earrings... Take a look at the link below to see the other entries. http://blog.folksy.com/2009/12/7/upcycle-christmas-winners
They are now all for sale on Ebay to raise some money for Sue Ryder - so please visit ebay and type "sueryder" in the search button. There is some great stuff on here which would make excellent Christmas presents - all handmade, AND you would be helping a charity at the same time.
I am rubbish at adding links to blogs so I've linked to "Cuteables" site (who featured one of my items :-) BIG THANKS!) as they are soooooo much better at it than me!! http://www.cuteable.com/

I won a couple of things in the Folksy/ebay auction - an adorable scotty dog and a cresent shaped button brooch. There items were all fabulous! I had previously won a really unusual brooche from 'once upon a tin' - there is a picture on my blog if you have the time!
ReplyDeleteThe reference to Wombles made me chuckle - my oh always says 'it's like living with a bloomin womble' when I buy treasure!
